MUC FCL’s no Hot water in showers 25/28 June

No hot water in either of the FCL’s bathrooms at MUnich for three days, starting now, due to repairs

Since today is not April 1, I assume this is not a joke.

Do they at least provide alternative arrangements, such as preferred use of the showers in the adjacent SEN lounge?

And maybe extra ducks to make up for the inconvenience?

No joke & I imagine the SEN lounge is also affected but seriously both Main & Satellite at the same time ......

For F pax & HON we can use the showers in the Hilton .....
that’s outside the airport .......

Ducks, currently none in FCL Main or Satellite

That's a double-bummer: no hot water and no ducks. Somebody really dropped the ball there.

The Hilton is the closest hotel to the terminals, but still quite a haul from the satellite and, worst of all, landside, i.e. one would have to go through security again. (I stayed there recently before an early departure.)

Someone really dropped the Ball & how apt they did it now...

Doubt many will want to schlep over to the Hilton for a shower....

At least the Pommery Louise is still flowing, no Ducks, no operable Showers & no Louise, one might lose the will to live

First world (or class) problems, but after all it's called First Class Lounge.

Very much so, how unfortunate for LH, a 5* airline ( allegedly ) that their second Hub has 2* plumbling

Not that long ago that the Satellite lounge was closed for weeks because the pipes had burst...... who the heck are their plumbers ????

Unfortunately, the airport usually hires whoever does it cheapest and not necessarily best.

So you can only take a bath in hopefully cold Cuvée Louise now.

LH is not too fussed because the spirit of Germany is summed up by 'Wir schaffen das'.

And this is why I always go with FRA when flying F. FRA seems to handle challenges better than MUC in my experience.

Indeed. No luck, again, though they aren’t new ducks...

Maybe they use City Plumbing

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1915862-ba-call-centre-routing-city-plumbing.html

I used to travel weekly to Munich, though through Terminal 1, and what a dump that terminal is. It looks like everything was an after thought especially passport control. And only one place to eat with same menu every day, no matter which concourse you're in and both BA and Priority Pass lounges were mediocre.
