How Early Can I Check Bags?
 
We are arriving early AM (~0900 hours) into LHR and departing LHR-MUC at 2030 hours on a separate ticket on LH.

How early will LH let me check my bags for my LHR-MUC flight? I was hoping to check the bags with LH and then have a day in London (and save the cost of using the luggage storage services at LHR).

No problem at all the LH check in desks are open all day

Does LH post their actual counter hours at LHR anywhere? I couldn't find it on their LHR information page and would be curious to know both the earliest and latest time the counters are open.

Also, for a 10:30 flight in Y with no status and luggage to check, is arriving in the 9/9:15 am range pushing it? Does it matter if I'll be connecting to TLV or is any "extra security" for that just at the gate in FRA?
