All my tickets under the new regime have posted with a delay but credited award miles according to the old system (be it a 125€ MXP-MUC oneway in K or a 527€ MUC-CGN return in Y/B) . Curious how my China trip this month with LX will credit. Its in P but cost 3450€.

I recently booked a Business return MAN-TYO and had the following options:
MAN-ZRH-NRT (LX)
HND-MUC-MAN (LH)
Books into P on all legs
2,166.08 GBP
Status miles 16,739 miles including executive bonus
Award miles (est) 11,610 miles
or
MAN-CPH-NRT (SK)
NRT-CPH-MAN (SK)
Books into Z on all legs
1,803.21 GBP
Status and award miles (est) 16,286 miles
Z fare on SK earns 2,000 M&M miles on European flights and 1.5 x distance on international flights.
For 350 GBP less but without executive bonus I will collect about 450 fewer status miles and 4,600 more award miles if I fly on SK. With LH's 150% award miles promo I might actually get a similar number of award miles whether I fly LH/LX or SK but I will still be saving 350 GBP by not flying on LX/LH.
So this is what the revenue based system has done to me..

* due to the cancellation of CPH-MAN flight I was rerouted CPH-ARN-MAN the following day (arriving 25 hours late) and received 3,000 status and award miles (plus 600€ EC261 compensation - but that's another story )
So the total of 21,906 status and award miles, a little more than I had expected.

My business return OTP-FRA-YYZ-TPA got messed up but I got "good will" millage from them 3 months later.
My 700 EUR return ticket OTP-MUC-DUB got messed up, still waiting on the miles.
Now I'm doing OTP-FRA-LAX-IAH-TPA-FRA-OTP. Curious to see how this one goes...

Guys,
Does anyone know what happens with the Miles if I skip a segment?
Let's say I have LHR-ZRH-JNB R/T booked and then I miss the last ZRH-LHR leg. How would that work?

Weird situation here,
I had a cancellation and they rerouted me in Y, but these flights gave nearly no Award wiles (170 each +-) which is weird because the original ticket was 400 Euros.
What is happening here?

I am really wondering if the mess created by the move to the new system will offset the benefits (from LH's point of view) of making the move...

The new system is awful. 265 miles for a one way BASIC L-class flight from DUS-LHR, no executive bonus at all. Cost was EUR79. Lufthansa (Cityline) used to be almost cheaper on this route and you got proper catering. Do you think there's much of a future for this FFP? Because like this, they will incentivize NOBODY to be a loyal frequent flyer with the LH Group! With miles collecting, I am about through, there really is no point any more. The only thing that could be interesting is status and retaining it.
From the Köln and Düsseldorf area there are a lot of flights to London, on the low costs such as easyJet and Ryanair, which in some ways provide better "service" than Eurowings. And British Airways have apparently started offering flights from CGN to LGW for EUR16 (see VFT for more info).

Actually I am not always unhappy with the new system. Very often I get much more miles, especially for my ultra expensive European shorthaul flights were I frequently pay around 1k CHF. In economy that is.
