Smartwings can continue to fly their aircraft round in circles with nowhere to land as far as I care

Blue Air to the rescue with their non-Max 737s - you may not see it in your bookings yet, but that’s what one of LOT’s managers posted on a Polish aviation forum.

Probably I’d expect some more type reshuffling with 738s, 734s, Embraers etc.

That‘s exactly what the are doing right now.

Do they have air-to-air refueling capabilities?

Don’t forget Regional Jet. They’ve got spare aircraft because of the schedule reduction in Tallinn so I would hope LOT use this to help them out too, as it’s essentially free leasing. I know it’s CRJ’s but if aircraft are displaced elsewhere then it’s what they should be doing.

TK were forced to send a flight destined for Manchester back to Istanbul quite a way into its journey because it couldn’t land.

Has the ULC come out and banned them from their airspace as well?

Ended up going to Tunis and Ankara. Earlier, TLV-PRG flight returned to TLV, one plane ended up in VNO, one in KTW (possibly based there?) and one, somehow, in LPA. There's also one AOG in PRG since before the grounding.

TLV pax flew in on an Israir Airbus, 800s were sent to TUN and ESB. One max from VNO is already ferried to PRG.

Which probably made sense for TK to bring plane and passengers home, where pax could be put on other flights.

Of course but heard some of the passengers being interviewed which was interesting. I think it might have even be an equipment change as there are non-Max aircraft still in TK’s fleet.

Doesn't seem to exist such a thing.
You recon they might use the government 737s?

Go2Sky 738 on that one. Where they found Executive Express in there I haven't a clue.

Seems to be for the considerable future they’ll need this arrangement.

I spotted a white (no logo, literally a blank ‘page’) 321 this morning at WAW, I wonder whether it is also operating on behalf of LOT.
