Problem with the auto show theory is that it started this week, so people would be arriving in Frankfurt, not leaving.

That's part of why I prefer the FCL to the FCT anyway: less crowded, same amenities, friendlier wait staff, apron view, less hype... (all of the once-in-a-lifetime pax go to the FCT to tick it off their bucket list -- don't mean that in a negative way).

while I hear your point, it's not 100% accurate.

There is a number of people that start their journey in FRA.
Also, depending on where I arrive in FRA / depending where I am connecting to, walking to the FCT is sometimes shorter/easier than FCL B.

Last but not least, on my last 2 stays at the FCL B, we had to stop for extra security checks on the way to the plane which never happens from FCT.

o.k., thanks for the additional info. Kind of explains what was going on, but still poor showing from LH. Something they know about and they should try to mitigate. Having 1 car come and the driver just shrugs his shoulder and says he does not know or care if other cars might come or not ... just not what Lufti wants F experience to be like.

When I am in transit in FRA I always use the FCL A or B. However, whenever I start my journey in FRA I head to FCT @:-)

The FCT is perfect if you arrive at the airport in a taxi. If you are changing planes in FRA, you're better off in an FCL. Except if you arrive in A and have to transfer to B/C -- or vice versa.

If you arrive close to A15, the B FCL is the place to go. By far easier than to treck to any remote Z gate with handluggage (and for me currently with baby)

I thought they have the individual work spaces with a door that you can close?

They kind of admitted they did not have enough cars to get all the pax ... I have just never seen this before. They had transfers for Y pax to MEX but nothing for their FC pax.
