NZ Flight on Miles and More
Hi guys,
I just booked a discounted fair K,G,V with NZ from LHR to PPT. Got a couple of questions:
- Is seat selection going to open up before the flight?
- Can I use my M&M upgrade vouchers (and how many) to upgrade the LHR to SIN flight to business/premium economy?
- Even if I don't get miles, can I have it listed on my LH or M&M account?
Any tips on getting accommodation on Marriott/M&M points in PPT and surrounding islands?
Thank you!
LM

2. No. Star Alliance cross upgrade requires a high priced Y B fare. If Air NZ even offers Star upgrades is another question.
What has SIN got to do with Air NZ as it flys LHR-LAX-AKL-PPT?
3. www.wheretocredit.com/nz/
PPT is expensive.

Actually it's:
NZ3321 - LHR-SIN (Operated by Singapore Airlines)
NZ3285 - SIN-AKL (Operated by Singapore Airlines)
NZ314 - ACK-PPT (Operated by Air Tahiti)
NZ43 - PPT-ACK (Operated by Air New Zealand)
NZ3286 - AKL-SIN (Operated by Singapore Airlines)
NZ3322 - SIN-LHR (Operated by Singapore Airlines)
So I have to forget about the idea that I can use my vouchers

You are probably in luck, since the 4 SQ operated flights will most likely give you miles, if they were on NZ metal you'd have probably earned nothing.
You have to find out the SQ PNR (look on checkmytrip.com or call NZ to get it) and then you might be able to find out the underlying SQ booking classes. With the SQ PNR you should be able to select seats on the SQ website.
You won't be able to upgrade with M&M.

So I have the NZ reference number and I can see my booking on their site.
I also have the PNR number, but checkmytrip.com or CWT To Go cannot find the trip...
Should I be worried?
