Adding *G info on a M&M 'C' award ticket
Hello,
I searched this forum for answers to my queries, specifically,
Here ,
Here , and
Here , however, I was unable to figure it out, so, thought of starting a thread.
My dad was kind enough to book a 'C' class award ticket for me (2 segs) using some of his award miles from his M&M account. My question is: can I add my *G info, so that it is reflected on my rez/BPs and I can get *G benefits (extra bags, SEN lounge access during my layover at FRA, etc.). If yes, then, how do you do it?
On another note, I have another 'C' class award booking (via M&M) on OS, for which I was able to add my *G info (via the OS site), however, all 'C' class seats seem to be blocked. Is it common for OS to do so? Even EF shows the same. The website says that I have to wait about 47 hours prior to departure to check in and select seats. Any insights?
P.S. Mods, please merge/direct the thread, to an appropriate place, if such a thread already exists!
Thanks much!!

Thanks much, @cfischer ! I guess it's faced by everyone, if their awards on LH flights are booked through someone else's M&M account?!
Also, I'm interested to know about the second part: All 'C' class seats shows blocked for my OS flight!? Hmmm....

For M&M awards the HON/SEN/FTL/MM No of the M&M account holder will be inserted in the booking when the reservation is made and can not be changed subsequently.
You may try to argue at check-in that it is not your M&M No. in the reservation and it should be changed to your FFP, but i doubt you will succeed. In the past LH has been quite adamant not to allow any other FF information in the reservation, let alone a change to another *A FFP. I believe this may be for accounting reasons.
Bring your Gold card and show it to receive the benefits that you are entitled to, e.g. lounge access, extra luggage allowance.
