Refund Question
Hi everyone ,
a friend of mine is dealing with Lufthansa and has a problem.
LH changed the schedule of her flight.
My friend then clicks on the cancel button in "my bookings" and is expecting a refund.
After sending a complain to LH she receives this generic answer
The thing is shes not seeking compensation but a refund.
her original ticket was non-refundable , but I think that if the airline changes schedule you are either entitled to rebooking or if the rebooking isn't convenient for you - a refund , no ?

...Whilst we appreciate that this has been a frustrating experience for you, unfortunately, as you were notified of the changes well in advance of your trip, we are not able to provide you with any compensation...

The agent on the phone said that the refund was made on january 4th.However since no money were actually transferred to the card that was used for booking, they advised me to contact customer relations again and ask them for the number of the transaction so the bank could locate the payment..
