Long Zurich connection on award ticket
So I'm flying on an award on Swiss from YUL-ZRH, arriving at like 630am in the morning, and then departing at 6:00pm for a flight to BRU connecting finally from BRU that evening on ANA to NRT.
My question is, if I check a bag in YUL through to NRT, will I have to pick it up or can they through check it? (essentially I don't want to have my bag with me cause I'm planning to go into Zurich for the day)
