SN advance seat selection

SN advance seat selection
I made a booking on the SN website that involves one LH segement each way. The SN website is telling me to go to Lufthansa to select seats and the LH website says seats can only be chosen at check-in. Really? Any thoughts? The fare class is S all the way. Thanks, ps

have been in same situation several times ! What I normally do and think is best is to call LH customer service and ask to have them manually insert your seat choice ...LH selected seats usually work out well at time of OLCI
