"HNCO" on boarding pass

What does the abbreviation HNCO signify? My fellow passenger's boarding pass showed this in the field where usually the status is displayed.

With the new checkin system, HOC status is no longer displayed on the boarding passes. It is however noted on the PIL on board.

Experienced the same today. Enhancement? Yes! Before that you could have SEN or HOC but not both. Now it is HNCO SEN.

Now I understand why my +1 had no HOC indicated on her BP when we flew to Italy three weeks back.

Anyway would be interested to understand more about HNCO as well.

Slightly related to this... is there a maximum number of PAX in a booking that will be HNCO?

Mainly asking about apron pickup: When travelling with 2 friends, they both were HNCO and LH sent a van instead of the limo. Let's say I travel with 5 friends (so even too many for the van) - any experience with that?

I believe the same rules as for lounge access apply, i.e., immediate family (spouse + children) + one guest
