If I misconnect on Germanwings...
I've got a 50-minute connection in HAM on Germanwings, and both are Schengen flights. If my inbound flight from DUS is late and I miss the connection, will Germanwings put me on an LH flight (or connection) to BUD?
Also, do Germanwings generally use airbridges or buses at HAM?

Then yes.
HAM is a quite small airport, you should be fine assuming the inbound is not much too late.
German/Eurowings uses busses or jet bridges here. My last flights to DUS and LHR were boarded through a jet bridge while I had my fair share of bus rides as well...

Flying the route DUS-HAM regulary, I would say flights arriving in the evening (where the aircraft stays overnight) tend to get an appron position whereas daytime flights get a jet bridgte.
