Check in with LH if first segment on partner
Hi,
I was trying to check in for my flight tomorrow since the first segment is on TG it will not let me check in.
The error I get is:
XXX does not allow check in please check in at airport....
This is a ticket on 220 ticket-stock.
Will I be able to call LH to ask them to assign seats for the BKK-FRA segment once I am within the 23 hour window for that flight?
Else I it will be very bad - as I was not able to reserve or buy a seatassignment before
I just tried to buy a seatreservation again LH773 for tomorrow 27-03-16
is not even pulling up a seatmap
Does that flight have a problem.....or is it sold out?

Once the flight opens for checkin you cannot access a reliable seatmap via the GDS. You have to checkin with the carrier operating the first segment no way around it.

Hi,
well I highly daubt the regional TG carrier will be able to check me in with LH .....but I found a solution to get assigned seats
Anyway LH 773 seems to be full in all classes with no seats for sale....amazing!

I genuinely don't use my cellphone for calling and use Hangouts when I have to call anytime.
Which comes very handy when I have to call an airline, since I barely speak German even though I live here and calling the US line makes everything so much easier.
