Economy Light Through Check
I'm flying Air China from PEK-FRA and now need to go to London instead; I checked fares and it turns out booking a FRA-LHR OW on LH is far cheaper than changing my CA flight to LHR.
If I would like to through check my luggage from Beijing all the way to London, will I be able to check bags if I booked an economy light fare from FRA-LHR, or do I need to book a baggage inclusive fare.

The CA agent in PEK will not check thru your luggage to LH for separate tickets anyway.
They won't deviate or get creative for you.
