Go on the Matrix and find a One way fare, then on the last screen look at the YQ field. Roughly that's it.

Altough I am SEN I have never actually looked into how the upgrades actually work
Hence two questions
If I decide to upgrade a flight, paid upgrade, miles, I get status miles according to what ?
When I see availability for an upgrade, but it doesnt allow me a manual upgrade on lh.com, can I upgrade by calling the SEN service ?
Thank you very much in advance

And yes, you should call the SEN service as they can waitlist you.
if you are already SEN, I hope you didn’t loose your 2 vouchers end of last year.

Hello, FT friends,
I think my question is too dumb to post in any other thread, so I will ask it here:
Next week, I am retuning home to Brazil with LH in Business Class and my return ticket is VCE - FRA - GRU.
I would like to know if the cabin luggage rules for Business Class departing form Italy is different from the rest of Europe. Is it true that departing from Italy, only one piece of hand luggage is allowed, even if my itinerary had begun in other place (as my case, at GRU)?
Than, I have another question: Are drawing and architecture storage tubes considered as hand luggage? (height is aprox. 60-65 cm, diameter is unknow, but it is the thinner ones).
At first, I would have only one standard sized cabin luggage, but now I will need one of those tubes to store some old and vintage city maps I collected as souvenir during my travel, LOL!
I would like to know the answer to these questions as soon as possible, because I need to now if I buy or not one tube.
Best regards,
Criske

I have departed from VCE several times and since they use A320s on the route for one you shouldnt have an issue storing it but most important, the staff at VCE is very easy going and never mentioned anything when I was carrying a bit too much
I have had Rimowa carryon as well as a suitbag along with one personal bag, and they didnt say anything
There are no such regulations as only one carry on per passenger from Italy, they just make you gate check suitcases sometimes if you are flying with AirDolomiti as their E190s dont have that much storage, but they never request business and status guests to do that

According to https://www.lufthansa.com/ch/en/carry-on-baggage): On certain flights with Lufthansa Regional or where country-specific variations apply (flights from Italy, India and the USA), First and Business Class passengers must check in their second piece of carry-on baggage.
In practice this is not enforced and I have never been asked to check my 2nd carry on flying from Italy (or India or the US).

While in the FCL I filled out a comment card to commend one of the staff and mention that I was much more impressed with the variety of food in the MUC lounges than in FRA (perhaps an opinion contentious to the plethora of Do & Co lovers). Nothing too serious. I filled in my email but left most of the contact info / M&M number blank as it wasn't like I was asking for compensation, just honest feedback.
4 weeks later, today, I received an email from LH customer care asking me to provide additional info, such as my ticket number, M&M number, flight details, and home address. They didn't mention my comments, just that they needed me to provide more info. At first I thought it was a phishing email as I hadn't filed any complaint with LH, but now I am piecing it together as a follow-up from the comments card I filled out to pass time.
Is there any reason they want to know my home address and flight details in processing my feedback about their lounge food / staffing level / the one PA's excellent service? (I only ask as someone who filled out my home address on the CX surveys I always got chosen to do when flying CX J/F prior to the huge data breach scandal). Is LH trying to send me a duck or just collecting needless info? :P

I figure it's worth sharing those here, although nothing surprising I imagine:
On the 747-800, the air conditioning unit above my seat (1K) was leaking fluid on descent. Not just a little, a lot, and it was dripping onto my clothes, hair, and skin from the angle of descent. I pointed it out to the FA but she said it was normal and that the A380 is worse at it (luckily I didn't experience it in 1A on the A380 the day prior). There's gotta be a way to prevent that or at least handle it better so passengers aren't arriving wet from questionable fluid. I was wearing a tshirt luckily and just changed into something else and covered myself with a blanket.
Purser very generously tried to confirm what arrival services I would get in Shanghai as a transit passenger (connecting 4 hours onto Star Alliance business class from LH first class). Crew went to the extraordinary step of confirming with Shanghai station manager that they would arrange for me a "VIP arrival service escort" (I saw a copy of the message). That is really great service from the crew, beyond what I would expect. Alas, on arrival in Shanghai nothing was actually provided and I was fully on my own. Just a bit of a let down.

They want to get your details to be able to send you a present and/it give you some miles.
Happened to me a number of times. Last times I gave them feedback on a fairly trivial issue they tried to call me twice when I could not answer my phone. They then sent me an apologetic message and a bottle of Roederer Cristal.

Hi, i'll be flying JFK-FRA-AMS on LH on an economy light fare, is it possible for me to check in one bag for free at JFK? I'm Star Gold and I asked LH on Twitter and they said that the free bag for Star Gold is 'a gesture and not guaranteed'. Anyone who's Star Gold and recently flew on a LH Light Fare?

UA clearly states this on their website, Star Gold members can check in two bags even if you fly on an Economy Basic fare. But LH made it very confusing..
