Is there a way to see what class upgrade you will be given in advance? I could have sworn I could see it at one point, but now I can't find it.

Sadly it is not shown. Assume the worst (P). You can call in and ask, the agents can see which BK is offered. If you want a higher BK, they can book you into Z/D/C/J for a higher price.

I received an offer for travel from FRA-JNB for $1,200 from P to A, one-way. Is this a decent offer?

I bet I am not the first with this issue but my fixed price upgrade button disappeared once LH try to re-issue my ticket, is there any option, chance to get this button back?

Conditions of your ticket do not allow for seat reservations on lh.com. Please contact our service center at:+421 (0) 250 112 125 or select seats during check-in. is displayed in grey frame in my booking

first outbound segment has been already flown

For the length of flight yes it's a decent offer but personally I would not pay for that for a night flight....

Traveling from JNB to MUC in PE. Hoping to upgrades to Business. Initial fixed price upgrade offer was $850. Now up to $1590. What are some standard offers seen for this flight? I am hoping the fixed price upgrade will fall but wondering how far it has fallen in the past. There are over 50 seats available. I have a bid already but for the right price may just take the cash upgrade.

LH MUC-YYZ currently in Economy Light

Fixed price of $1,080 CAD offered to upgrade to Business
Plus Grade Starts at $530 USD / $680 CAD.

Do either of these options provide additional points?

Also on LH's new A350 with 1-2-1... Hmmm...

Fixed price rebooks you in business. Bidding does not.

If your bid is accepted the booking class will change to business (P most likely) and you will earn miles accordingly.

I'd personally never pay 800 EUR to upgrade a sub-8 hour daytime flight, so I guess it's not a no-brainer And it's only around 3k miles extra.

If the upgrade goes to "P" fare class, the OP might even get no miles because of the upgrade if crediting to a partner such as Asiana Club, Turkish Miles&Smiles, Aegean Miles&Bonus, etc...
Since the OP has both an Asiana and Air Canada FFP, to benefit from the additional miles, he must credit the flight to his Air Canada account if the information on his profile is recent and if he only has 2 *A frequent flyer program memberships.

Both are accurate. Transitioned to AC*G instead, and OZ is being phased out.

Crediting to AC, "P" class would be 4K points or so. I'll probably just spin the wheel and wait till the day of. The Plus Grade option does give the option to bid just for business.

Cash or bid?

SFO -> MUC on 5/23 upgrade from Economy (L) to Business (P) for $840 (funny, upgrade to PE is $1130). Take it now, wait or bid (starts at $585)?
