Clearly but it’s confusing for LH customers, I remember them just a few years ago ending F to BKK & saying it would NEVER return because the big aircraft won’t be flying here due to their inability to compete on Y fares with EK, EY & QR, now we have the A380 flying to BKK, Oct to March & they mange to fill F & so does LX.....

Filling F to BKK is one thing. I'm convinced pretty popular as award and upgrade. But how any tickets are sold as F or A fare?

LH said the main problem was filling Y class on the larger aircraft but it’s not easy to book F on LH as an award or revenue to BKK as a bargain

Ultra low season in BKK then & of course the ex CDG A fares are well known, you can go a lot further than BKK in A class for that amount

Where else? I've seen Joberg. I tried pricing out HK but no cigar. SF I can never get below 3.8k GBP.

I am just happy that BOS-MUC is coming back! Now I just need that nonsense 744 FRA-BOS to end as well!

Indeed I haven't seen an empty LX F cabin for a while. The last 3 years all my F flights were pretty full, also on LH btw.

Current batch of A359 deliveries will not get F. The next batch that was ordered last week may get F, but that delivery schedule is post 2023. As A359 replace the A346 in MUC over the next few years, those routes will lose F. FRA will get A359s from the current deliveries beyond the A346 replacements and post 2023 for A343 replacement.

B789 will not get F.

50% (previously 66%) of longhaul will be offered with a F cabin.

New F is in planning, seats maybe based on the LX platform to get commonality. As part of this planning they are looking at a F cabin that only has 4 or 6 seats.
A small detail I’m not certain about: Swiss will retain the 8 F seats right?

I would be very unhappy if they were to be reduced.

748 returns to FRA-BOS on 3/31 (same day as the 346 on BOS-MUC actually -- however looking at EF looks like the 359 is back a week later, then reverts back to 346 from 4/19, go figure)

Same here, the bidding process seems to work well for LX filling the remaining F seats days before the flight.

And with LH now P & Z can be upgraded, upgrades fill any remaining seats.
