sorry, did not read it properly. Then the offer is even worse than I thought!

LH should at least consider offering the package to SENs at a lower price, as many of the featured benefits are part of the status privileges anyway.

At half the price, I would probably be tempted.

The offer _is_ only available to SENs (at least now.).

The description still says SEN or C-ticket. Which would mean that the price is the same for all C-ticket-holders, whether they are SEN or not, but SENs get only half the additional features, as the other half is part of their status anyway. Does not seem to make sense.

I understood this part:

** This trial offer applies exclusively to Lufthansa Business Class passengers and to customers with Senator status. The use of the First Class Terminal in Frankfort is excluded from this offer.
as "to use this offer you must be both flying in C and SEN", not "either SEN or C", but it does seem to be poorly worded.

(the fact that they manage to misspell "Frankfurt" is driving me crazy every time I read that)

Poor drafting and pretty amazing to misspell your home base's name to boot.

Since you and I interpreted the wording differently, it must indeed be ambiguous. Your interpretation is surely possible and, knowing LH, maybe even more likely than my interpretation.

Since UA no longer operates a F lounge in ORD, does this mean access to the Polaris lounge? Moot point if traveling in J but may be worth something if traveling in PE or Y and you want to avoid the United Club.

This is a steep prize for what is offered: Basically for RTs between FRA/MUC and BKK, HND, MEX, ORD including:
a. F lounge in FRA/MUC (FCT in FRA excluded): great lounges but realistically not worth more than 100 EUR
b. F lounge BKK/HND/MEX/ORD; probably with the exception of BKK and HND very inferior to the LH FCLs; at best also worth 100 EUR
c. Priority check-in (anyhow benefit as SEN)
d. HON baggage tag, at least on ORD not an advantage over normal priority tag at all, in HND and BKK: saves 2 min time at best
e. personal assistant: in HND: no advantage, in ORD: no advantage if one has Global Entry. in BKK: no advantage and anyhow bookable for ~50EUR, in MEX: not sure, never been
f. 3500 extra award/status/HON/select miles: depends how much you value this.
why don't you think the HON tag adds value at ORD? My bag recently showed up 20 minutes before a SEN colleague's bag...

my experience is limited to the 3-4 times I arrived in ORD on LX F: It always was a 15-20 min wait and my bag arrived in the middle of all other priority bags. Never arrived on LH F in ORD, so maybe better handling.

that may be it - LH F at Ord is actually top notch for an outstation (also with the personal assistant marika who is always taking great care of the pax on the ground when departing - nothing you could not live without but still a very nice touch). I never arrived on LX as far as I remember but LH handling is great as far as they can control it (of course, still you have to take the annoying train from T5 etc but that is not their fault).

Hmm, when I flew FRA-ORD in F last year I didn't think the arrival service was much of a help. There was a PA on the jetbridge who upon deplaning said "I'll meet you at baggage claim," but after I collected my bag she was nowhere to be seen. I had a connecting flight to catch and didn't feel like standing around so just headed to immigration myself. Was there more that I missed?

the PA is actually on departure. On arrival, they deliver HON luggage fast - that's about it (but that's the CBPs fault, as they don't allow VIP immigration)

LH447 F Returns DEN- FRA

Hey All

I just found 2 F Seats DEN-FRA April 25th LH447.

I wonder why they brought back F? I thought LH removed F from both the DEN-FRA and DEN-MUC flights?

Any ideas?

My parents just got rebooked from B to F! They are excited.

Thanks for sharing your LH F experiences.
