Until they're refurbished or until the new 777s come in with the F product, I might actually avoid LH F from here on out.

I was including my last experience on LH F in this summary. The cabin wasn't well maintained or cleaned, and IFE wasn't functioning at one of the seats, and the recline function wasn't working at another seat. Even if LH F is "back to normal" on the plane, "normal" was in decline before the pandemic even started. And the 748s are not the newest planes in the fleet.

BKK isn’t open & no sign of it doing so, not very pax friendly selling F tickets to BKK, for a European MEX is probably the best of a poor set of choices.

Is it fairly certain that LH will retire the 747-400s but keep the -800s?

Is LAX losing First Class for the winter?
According to EF, F is zero'd out on all FRA-LAX 74H flights from November to April.
Are we about to get a 359 for the winter?

The dates in October that they are not selling F are because they are F0. There are a few dates where the seat map is almost full.
In November however this isn't the case, it's just F0 with nearly empty seat maps. My guess would be moving to 333 or 343. I bet LH wishes they had some 777 to accommodate extra cargo with a low pax load, and less fuel burn. ORD-FRA is F0 from November onwards as well, so equipment downgrades are likely. Only MEX left in North America.
/edit: I was looking in the FRA-LAX direction for the F0 flights. There are first available on every flight in October LAX-FRA. It doesn't operate on Wednesdays or Saturdays.

Never thought I’d see the day where LAX loses F.
I’m doing MEX soon and have been watching loads, F is often 6+/8 seats taken, with less than that in Biz and PE! You’d think that would send LH a message?
