If they confirm you and you have to change/cancel the underlying booking - can you get a refund of the Plusgrade payment?
Edited to Add: Since this was a test case, and after waiting hours on the phone to cancel, they said that the refund will be only processed *after one month*! ("Due to the Ukraine situation...") ::facepalm::
