Yes the bulkheads are off limits IMO but the narrow section of the fuselage is nonetheless very neat to travel in. You have to board mighty early to overcome the overhead space shortage but then it is quiet and feels quite private. There is virtually no traffic to the cockpit and F.
And the A380 is the one aircraft where you will not be stirred and shaken during turbulence sitting far front.

I much lik LH's free-flow snacks and drink section between Y and PE but that is a fair bit in the back then.

The food product is no longer good though, so if I can ride BR, CX, or SQ I am there but LH is competitively priced and the seat works fine for me.

A330-300 & A340-300 LH PE Seats Bulkhead or No?

Hi All,

Flying on LH414 A330-300 MUC-IAD & LH427 A340-300 PHL-FRA on Premium Economy. My husband is quite tall, so every inch of leg room helps.

I have read several reviews of LH PE, and someone recommended bulkhead for better leg room, but then someone else said tall people should not choose bulkhead seats.

I would appreciate if anyone who has experienced LH PE on A330 or A340 could chime in with their thoughts?

Thanks so much in advance!

I'm 1.94m tall and have been in bulkhead, exit row and regular LH PE seats. Concerning leg room the bulk head seats are the worst of the three. The regular seats have more legroom but getting out of a window seat can be a bit difficult if you sit next to a stranger and the pax in front of you have fully reclined the seats. The bulkhead is not terrible, but I personally avoid it now.

748 is the only one worth taking 1st row in PE

I had flown A340 in the first row of PE and was really happy. Bulkhead far enough...

Advice on PE seating on 380

Hi all,

Two questions about LH457, LAX-FRA, on the A380.

1) Ticket is currently for PE with a fairly open cabin. I prefer aisle. Which would you say is better, 50C or 52D?
2) I can bid on a business seat for $585 minimum. Worth it? Should I bid a higher price?

I'd go for 52D - it has unlimited legroom, whereas 50C has a fixed bulkhead.

this is I think a personal preference... I habe tried both seats and I prefer 50C... simply because I do not habe the feeling of "sticking out" + I did not enjoy the bumps of the crew....

Any temperature discomfort in 50C due to proximity to exit door?

A346 PE - stay in 25H or move to 24D?

Currently booked in the very leg-roomy 25H with someone next to me. This seat will be a bit tighter since equipment is stored between seats (back of forward row is far away).

Option is to move to 24D (with nobody booked in the center seat). Like having room next to me as opposed to being right next to a stranger (of course assuming the seat remains empty). It will be a bit wider seat. But I will give up some legroom.

Should I move?
