10,000 status miles for me as well. Brings me to a total of almost 15,000.

I exchanged 6000 award for 3000 status to reach Senator 2 days ago, now I get same message - 3000 miles award, I don't yet see them in my account. If they are going to award me status miles I want a cancellation of my exchange from before!!! :-)

You got to wonder what these geniusses running M&M are thinking... Give away something that has little to no value and then make sure to do it near the end of the year, making sure that for most it has no value at all.

Is it that difficult to understand that those that really need 10k (or even 30k) in status miles would not have their travel planned so they go over the threshold before the end of the year.

My strike disruption was in March, bit late for that 10k now isn't it. I avoided flying LH as much as I could since then with just a few longhauls (one that was completed a day before another strike). Not that I would have qualified without some extra effort, but that 10k might have persuaded me do do just that. Not anymore in the next week....

Extend my status for a few months, let me choose to apply those status miles to 2015, or do something else that is usefull. This basically is crap.

With the threat of strikes continuing, we might look forward to more such "compensation" in a year's time...

Just reached 107,324 two days ago... Now I get extra 10.000.... nice gesture for those at 90k so that they can stay at home and enjoy holidays instead of mileage running.

I got the email but I still don't see at the 3000 miles in my account for FTL's. It is only for German based M&M members?

Me thinks yes, it does come a bit late for any requalification help, however, it is still a nice gesture.

Well, except for us nutpots nobody would MR at this time of the year, but sit in front of the xmas tree and think about evil things they could do to LH (pilots and management) for missing SENhood by just a tiny fraction. So this gesture wins their hearts and wallets

And don't you think that those that had planned to do some 10k running possibly have already bought some tickets? I don't really get this offer at all....
