The roped off section behind the food buffet is for First class à la carte dining. It has a wide selection of meals and wines and the quality was 1A last January!

Looks like I sorted it out. The Lower Level is for Business Class, but now that I am *G (unlike last time), I was invited to the Premium Section on the upper level (same level with the roped off F lounge).

Only real difference between the upper and lower levels seems to be that the Upper Level (Premium) is less crowded. And you don't have to take an elevator down. :)

Thanks, All!

Apologies if this has been answered, but I didn't see it in my reading of this thread.

I'm Delta Gold flying Business (Z) on Jet from BOM-CDG later this month. Will I have access to this lounge?

Jet uses the MALS lounge in BOM, not the GVK lounge discussed here.

I went through BOM as a SEN in business-class on Brussel's new(ish) service.

I was grateful for the not so easy to find fast-track security but a tad confused once I got airside. There seem to be two GVK lounges, and signage wasn't particularly helpful finding either of them. OK, I'm not at my best post midnight...

I must have found the right one: they sent me down in a lift to a large lounge, crowded in its central part but near empty in the further sections. Plenty food and drink on offer, even a spa.

Righteous indignation and ruffled feathers when I realised SN doesn't recognise my god-like status and send me to the premium or first-class lounges?? Not a bit of it :D

Do the lounges offer clean toilets?

The entire terminal 2 in BOM has 'clean toilets' but the lounge also has a decent offering.

Thanks. I saw that, but no shower? That's basically the only reason I go to the lounge. So to be clear, the GVK (with a shower) is not available?

Yes. Apparently, airlines will not be allowed to have dedicated lounges. All airlines will share this one GVK lounge. I do not know if that is a good thing or bad thing.

Depends how often you visit the airport. I visit quite frequently, so it's bad in my view. I like to try out different lounges!
