I booked my flight on 30 October, and I received the notification yesterday evening, so 10 November. the flight is scheduled for Monday 13th.
my previous offer for the outbound leg from MUC->CGN wasn't approved days ago. and in fact the plane was full when I boarded yesterday.
I think I read somewhere on the MyOffer FAQs that the approval or refusal of the upgrade comes during the 24H before the scheduled flight.

Flying on LH760 to DEL on the 23rd of November. Just placed a bid from Y(V) to Y+ for 205 Euros. The minimum bid was 180 Euros. Confirmed upgrade is available for 249 Euros.
Would appreciate if someone could share the loads and tell me how good are the chances.
Cheers

Thanks. Looks like it would be wiser to pay an extra 40 odd euros for a confirmed upgrade. But I am assuming a confirmed Upgrade would book into N, earning 100%, whereas Myoffer would book me in E, earning 150%.

N might just be closed as your departure date is less than two weeks away. Thus, the fare rules as opposed to the expected load might be the reason for n = 0.

So you need also to value the difference (50%->150% in E)

Also had my bid accepted on FMO-FRA from Y(V) to C (P) for 45 Euros.
Update: Got an op-up while boarding to J.

I have an upcoming trip to TPA. For the return flight LH483 to FRA on Friday 8th December, there is no availability for the confirmed upgrade (which LH values at 249 EUR), so I'm thinking to bid for an upgrade to PE. I have a ticket in W class for this flight. At the LH website, the bid range for the flight is min. 180 EUR, and max. 550 EUR.
Could someone take a look at the seats available, and share the findings with me?
Thanks,
Hogar

Flying ARN-FRA-EDI-FRA-ARN.
For fun, I bid the lowest amount (60€ ?) on all segments, except last one since it is on SAS. Thought maybe one would go through.
But all did! So turned out a bit more expensive than I thought. Guess I will have to save on my girlfriends Christmas present instead.

Brussels Airlines seems a joke to me. Their minimum bid for upgrading a WAW-BRU leg is €275! What's the point of that when I could easily buy such a ticket outright on LX for around €220 for the same day of travel?
And for the 1 hour hop in a Dash 8 from BRU to BHX they want at least €160 to bid for the right to move up to the first couple of rows and get that 10 minute meal service. Terrific value there!
I generally wouldn't bother with C on intra-EU unless I'm in need of status miles. I was just checking out of curiosity.
SK seemed just as ridiculous tbh. After booking a SAS Plus trip (ARN-HKG) the minimum bid for SAS Business upgrade from Plus was greater than the price difference between the two classes on the booking page. So you would end up paying less up front for the guarantee of sitting in C than for the chance to get it via bidding.
Which are the airlines that offer vaguely realistic bidding prices? LO seems to be as bad as SN and SK in my experience.
