I have become FTL in May 2008 and every year (apart from 2011) I have earned more than 35000 miles. This year I have also earned 35000 miles.

Question: until is my status valid: February 2017 or February 2018? Thank you!

When you got FTL in May 2008, your status was valid until 02/2011 (rest of the year + 2 years + 2 month until end of February)

Requalification was possible in 2009 or 2010.
In 2009 you have earned 35k, so your status was extended for 2 further years until 02/2013.
The miles earned in 2010 do not count, as only one requalification is possible during your status validity of 2 years.

New requalification then was possible again in 2011 or 2012.
In 2011 you did not do it, but in 2012.
So your status is valid until 02/2015.

New requalification then was possible again in 2013 or 2014.
In 2013 you made 35k again, so status was extended until 02/2017.
The miles earned in 2014 do not count, as explained above.

Now your account is probably only showing status until 02/2015.
The new status validity until 02/2017 will show up around end of November/beginning of December this year.

Your next requalification is possible in 2015 or 2016.

Before someone asks:
It works the same for SEN requalification.

For HONs it is similar, however here you have the 2 years (of your status validity) to reach 600k HON-Miles.
