Ex-PL TATL Q fares from LH&Co are what BA/AF/AZ price their lowest Y+ offers.

Olivers FAQ notes a 100-150% credit.

My bad, it is right indeed. For some reason, my brain turned "by 17 cm to 38 inch" into "from 17 cm to 38 inch". This would a massive increase of over 450%, hence my comment.

And remarkably similar to a refresh of the "old" business class.

I do agree the product looks interesting- will be also interesting to see how the price points etc work- could be a winner here.

the question was about award chart, not earning, I think.
I'm curious, too. Maybe the last C redemption cost increase was done with Y+ in mind to create a larger gap between Y and C

IMHO one big miss for this new product is not having a real divider and curtain between the new Premium Economy and regular Y, which is something I believe the majority of airlines with a real Premium Economy product (BA, VS, QF, CX) do. I'm assuming LH did this to preserve the amount of space lost. However, having flown long haul several times on CX in Premium Economy, having a divider and curtain makes a big difference-- it creates a separate cabin that is quieter and more private, and reduces the amount of foot traffic going past your seat.

QF aside, this seems one the best Y+ products.
In Europe comparable to TK.
Risk is to allure more consolidated J passengers than pushing the Y ones to splurge on it.

I like the questions and I love the answers. They were well-prepared for the FT onslaught this time around Looks like a winner for now.

Business Traveller writes about a separate cabin.

I do agree this is a big decision making difference.
