per airlineroute, 5 new routes for Summer 18

Lufthansa in summer 2018 season is introducing 5 European routes, including a service resumption. Opened for bookings this week, planned new service as follow.

Frankfurt – Chisinau eff 25MAR18 1 daily
LH1474 FRA0950 – 1320KIV 319 x6
LH1474 FRA0955 – 1325KIV 319 6

LH1475 KIV1430 – 1610FRA 319 D

Frankfurt – Glasgow eff 26MAR18 1 daily (Lufthansa last operated this route with its own aircraft in March 1995)

Frankfurt – Mahon eff 28APR18 1 weekly

It looks like the A333 Ex- FRA conversion program from F/J/P/Y to J/P/Y is on hold for the time being.

LH has resumed selling F class service to RUH on the A333 from Nov 1, 2017 until the end of the winter season time table 2018 @:-)

Lufthansa at the launch of winter 2017/18 season adjusted planned operational aircraft for Frankfurt – Toronto route, previously scheduled with Boeing 747-400 aircraft. From 29OCT17 to 14JAN18, this daily service will be operated by High-Density configuration of A340-300 (C18E21M261).

There is still daily 748 from FRA, as well as two daily NH flights from FRA, one from MUC and one from DUS. That's quite a choice between Germany and Japan. LH714 MUC-HND seems to be back to 346 in the summer 2018 timetable.

It appears F is blocked for sale on LH714 next summer, are they getting rid of F on the A346 after all or is it preparation for permanent switch to A359?

The A346 are on their way out, all to be replaced by A359 by 2020... so yes.

Surprised the FRA-GLA turn isn’t timed to take advantage of connecting traffic from the US. Especially considering the amount of golf marketing LH-partner UA does.

Austrian recently made minor adjustment to its planned winter 2018/19 schedule, effective from 28OCT18. Based on current listing, the airline’s planned changes as follows.

Vienna – Hong Kong eff 28OCT18 Service operates 3 weekly, instead of 4 weekly in W17. This route is served by Boeing 777-200ER
Vienna – Newark eff 28OCT18 2 of 4 weekly service operates with 777-200ER, replacing 767
