The A346 fleet and 7 A380 have been taken out of the system till the end of the summer 2021 schedule. The systems should slowly update, but are probably on hold because the overall schedule for winter 20/21 and summer 21 is being reworked to reflect the reduction in capacity... it looks like MUC will become a A380 and A359 station only. A tweet from a LH A380 CPT:

Makes sense compared to my findings; B748 will replace A388 mainly from FRA and A359 will replace (apparently only some) A388 mainly from MUC. Are there any estimations on when B779 will enter service?

What a shame, I was really looking forward to my A380 SIN-FRA flight this September. I guess I'll ask to reroute over HKG or HND then.

HKG-FRA is A346 and HKG-MUC is A359 in September, as per the current data.
HND-FRA is B748, HND-MUC is A359.
This still matches the above comments about mainly A359 ex MUC and B748 (and a few A346) ex FRA, as replacement for A388.

LH779 on which I'm currently on has been switched to 748 from A380. I know there wouldbe no A380 via hnd or hkg, but my friends are flying ov er HKG and I only chose the direct flight because there was no more A availability. via HND I'd go for the lh codeshare op by ANA as it features their new 777 F althoug no F lounge access in fra on arrival though.

LH removes all A380 from FRA. Only 7 might remain in MUC

Nooooooooooo, thank you for the headsup. My November flight has indeed chamged from A380 to B748. Absolutely gutted wanted to fly the 380 one last time

My MUC-SFO flight in Feb 2021 also got changed from A380 to A359. Still, I never particularly liked the J cabin on A380 and I still haven't flown on an A359, so I actually welcome the change.

BRS-FRA

I think this route had barely got started before Covid19 took hold, but already our flights in December 2020 have been cancelled - assume it's now been ditched?

Out of interest: Which routes are being served by A380s in the future?

All I could find is MUC-PEK this June...
There are people claiming MUC being the new F Hub for LH, but considering that in the future they will only have 7 planes stationed there that have F (along possible future A350s with F) I disagree. FRA will have way more with its 748s and remaining A340s.

Same here. Both FRA-JFK and SIN-FRA were changed for me. The LH A380 keeps eluding me, I really want to fly on it at least once!

I haven't been able to find a single route served by A388, I searched for the usual A388 services for Summer 2020, Winter 2020/2021 and Spring 2021. All are now shown with A346, A359 or B748 (see my previous posts in this thread). Another website notes that the A388s will be kept on ground in MUC, but can be "reactivated" if there is demand for it. In other words, sounds like no scheduled A388 service at all in the future.

I too have been searching for LH flights in F ex MUC this June, September as well as in April of 2021, I haven't found a single one, except the MUC-PEK flights this June&July. Furthermore I couldn't find any other LH F flight ex Muc...

That means BOS is back to no F service out of either FRA or MUC at least for now.

Have a booking for a family member in late Sep 2020 for LH778/779 and also saw the aircraft and seat change when the notifications came in. Surprisingly LH assigned 84H on the B748 upper deck which is an "emergency exit" aisle seat and pretty decent for all the seats they could have assigned.

How long is it taking after a flight is no longer for sale online before you get a cancellation email? Am wanting to phone up and get a refund ASAP, but I have not had an email yet. The flight has not been listed as departing online for the last couple of days now.
