According to http://www.experiencetheskies.com/mo...aviation-news/ Looks like LH402/403 will be replaced from a 747-400 to a 747-8 starting Feb 23 with LH402.
That's a quick turnaround from delivery to service.

The Panama flight is already available in the M&M award booking engine:

LH440 Frankfurt to Houston only flew twice in January and non in February do far, and when you try to book the Tuesday option is not available.
It still appears for March (I fly Tuesday 3rd so hopefully they will not cancel)...
I called but no clear answer, I guess it will be cancelled soon? Anyone has other news?
They are other five flights to Houston with United, I guess that they cancel because the plane is not full...

And by the way I take the flight several times a year and it is amazing how full it always is (in F and C).

I'm on the 404 on 7 April in F, considering changing to the 402 so I can try the "Old New" First Class with the bed before it's gone..! Have done 747-8i and A380 a number of times already. Thoughts? OT Slightly - are the F bathrooms smaller on the upper deck than on the 747-8i?
