Lufthansa continues his operation to MCT to be via AUH but as a "technical stop" only.

Why would you continue to fly via AUH when you just announced pulling out of this market all together?

A330 operating would surely be able to fly nonstop FRA-MCT and I guess crew rest cannot me an issue in a safe country like Oman?

Might have to something do with preserving the slot, or some right to reopen the route on short notice.

Still, making the route at least 1.5hrs longer than what a direct flight would be.. burning lots of petrol + extra crew time + less attractive for customers

Just doesn't make much sense.. either pull out completely or keep it as a normal stop - a "technical stop" just doesn't make much sense in this context.. they're losing all pax that would want to go to AUH only, and for those going to MCT, on a flight time that is still taking so long that taking any of the ME3 via DXB/DOH/AUH won't be that much slower anyway!?

Seems very Dilbert'esque for me..

One thing I noticed that I didn't see announced was the aircraft operating FRA-PHL. It was I believe 4x weekly 346 and 3x weekly 343 in Jun-July. Then 7x weekly 343 in late August. However, it has been back at ~3 or 4x weekly on the 346 for at least a month.

Previously KEF was served in summer with a CRJ900 from DUS. NEK or not, I would rather prefer an A32S In the good old days of bmi scores of FTers would have rejoiced Alas, AVLM considers KEF to be part of Europe

nothing wrong with exit rows on CR9, or is it? Way better than 319/320 for sure.

CRJ to KEF?
This is torture plain and simple.
The SED (Sadism Executive Department) at LH is swearing they cannot operate a non-stop KEF-TLV.
