Great news that EWR will have a consistent first class product! Now if they had a nice first class lounge experience there would be no reason to schlep over to JFK then.

It looks like they take out quiete some C class seats to get PE into the plane i.e, A380 current C98 (new C92) and now it shows as C78. A340-300 from C42 to C30, etc. I am not sure how this goes with the idea PE does not eat into C class

A380 is getting 50+ E class seats, but those are on the lower deck and eat into Y capacity. What you observed is the new Y mini cabin coming next summer in the upper deck behind C.

Interesting. Thanks for the update on the mini Y, that reminds me on the SQ A380 layout.

The 747-400 C class layout for S15 seems interesting (i.e FRA - YVR): On the upper deck only C seats 2-2 but the lower deck still has 2-3-2 row 10-14. Will they keep the old seats as the 748 has only 2-2-2 in these rows?

No the 744 will have the new C class but in a 2-3-2 parallel layout. Backed by popular demand for // config to avoid /\ footsie layout

F to PHL seems pretty schizophrenic. I am never quite able to figure out in advance when it is offered and when not...

S15 is all about the re-configuration and the adjustment on F/C and W/Y cabin seat counts/ratios.

Yep, the fun will really start with W15-16: 5 more 748 in service in FRA, remaining 346 moving to MUC, retrofit done, jump 343 in service. S16 will see the first A359 arrivals...

That's a bummer. I and my family are booked on the earlier flight on August 7 from LAX to FRA as we wanted to fly the 747-8. So if we still want to fly the -8, I guess we have to rebook the ticket to the evening flight. I am just concerned that what if Lufthansa changes that equipment type also? How likely is that?

That is a lot of capacity to put into SEA, given that BA and DL are duking it out over Europe there...

I'm glad to see this as well. LH USA was really pessimistic a few months ago when they first indicated that JFK would be dropped.
