Arrow Flyertalk/Vielfliegertreff and Lufthansa Dialog 2013 event

Dear Flyertalkers,
I'm happy to announce the

Flyertalk/Vielfliegertreff and Lufthansa Dialog 2013 event

Where: Near FRA Airport
When: November 4, 2013 at 5.30pm

Carsten Spohr
, CEO of Lufthansa German Airlines and Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG
and
Dr. Reinhold Huber, Senior Vice President Product and Marketing, Lufthansa German Airlines

and others request the pleasure of engaging in a dialogue with the frequent fliers of Flyertalk and Vielfliegertreff.

There is no defined agenda or topic, you are invited to ask anything you always wanted to ask the management of LH in person.

Due to space restrictions, only approximately 25 participants can attend.

If you are interested, please send a PM to me (oliver2002) stating

- your Full Name,
- email address,
- Flyertalk/Vielfliegertreff handle (please list both if you are a member on both forums) and
- one sentence why you would like to attend.

Please note that we will only transmit your Full Name and email address to LH without any reference to the handle.

Deadline: Monday, October 14th, at 12:00 noon CEST.

The primary language at the event will be English.

For those who cannot attend (like me, who already booked a vacation ) we will open another thread to collect any questions the participants can take into the event and ask.
LH has specifically asked not to submit any questions to them, so that event can be more spontaneous and casual.

Are pitchforks and torches allowed?

Interesting initiative. It will be fun to read how things turn out. I give them credit for facing the music after the recent enhancements.

... and you have managed to invite the Who-is-Who of the Flyertalk Lufthansa board! Chapeau, great representation!

I just fear some participants will need to take an anger management course before facing "the dark side"

...and we have 25 attendees. As CalFlyer mentions, I'm also proud and glad I got the who-is-who of the M&M forum together.

Please keep sending us your applications, we'll open a waitlist since some of the first 25 are sorting out their travel plans and may not be able to attend.

I booked VIE-FRA-DUS-VIE in V/V/S. Almost got the last segment in E, but was too slow

I would probably have come by train Alas, exam week starts on that very Monday, and I didn't want to enhance my grade average because of LH.

You should do it!

By the way- is there a hotel all the FTers are staying at (i.e. Hilton or Sheraton)?

My question as well. I take it FRA is the only option, no votes for downtown? I'd be at a Hilton property.

Flyertalk/Vielfliegertreff and Lufthansa Dialog 2013 event

*** saved ***

I now "have to be" in MXP on the afternoon of the 5th...

MAN > FRA > STOP > FRA > MXP, company pays

I'd normally choose the Marriott (€209/night), however as PLAT is secure for this year, I'm happy to "go with the crowd" if there is an impromptu FT Social event that evening...

Mini-do? Was planning to fly away in the evening after the meeting, but could stay overnight and fly out early morning instead. Is it Hilton proper or the Hilton Garden Inn? It appears both are at the airport, never had the pleasure to stay there, so would appreciate some locals to share their wisdom.
