One way SEA-FRA on Condor earn Miles and More?

Looking at the award chart, it looks like leaving Germany only. Is there any way to earn miles on any airline on this flight? TIA.

AFAIK, no. DE only awards miles on flights leaving from Europe (Germany, Austria, etc.) - and the amount of miles is the same wether it is oneway or return. I have not earned miles for oneway flights leaving from North America to Europe.

Thanks for your answer. The condor SEA-FRA flight is 1/2 the cost of other carriers, and non-stop to boot, but I can't figure out a way to earn mileage on anyone. Might be worth it to just bite the bullet.

No way to earn on that. Another cheaper alternative is FI via KEF, or seasonal AB from YVR to DUS?

I think you can only earn M&M mileage in comfort class and even then it is only a token sum and Not the actual mileage.

You can earn in all service classes, but it needs to be a return flight (so SEA-FRA-SEA is OK too): http://www.miles-and-more.com/online...l=de&cid=18002

As usual, checking the exact German wording is the key! I stand corrected...should have said no way to earn on a one-way.;-)

Sure. no problem to get miles on a ome-way. Germany to whereever earns double miles, wherever to Germany earns no miles.

Beware of Premium Economy on DE. I once booked Premium Economy on a FRA-YHZ leg, because I had surplus money from changing the date, but then I had massive troubles getting any miles. Miles&More claimed I was booked in a booking class which does not earn miles (O or something). DE insisted that I was not booked in O, because they never ever used O, it is simply not part of their booking class system, and that I should have earned miles allright.

I believed Condor, because it matched the printouts I had received. I was turned down by M&M twice, and I had to file an official complaint to the chairman in the mail, before I got those measly 3.000 miles (no status miles ond DE anyway). At that time it had become a matter of princinple for me.

But, going FWD, it is not worth ith. I'll be trying Icelandair for the first time soon.
