Bit the bullet and filed a complaint last night.

Got at a call from LH (UK based) earlier this morning profusely apologizing for the lack of 'good' champagne and that she was sure it was a one off. She can't send a bottle to me (I didn't press on this further) but I did get 10k award miles because I am an invaluable SEN

If we keep banging on that we don’t want Cheap Fizz in LH F the message might eventually sink in

My fear is they will rather give 10000 miles to the few who complain than take it as a message.

Through the LH website Feedback Page under the topic 'Travel Experience'. Politely asked the question of when would the listed champagne (Louise) come back, because the champagne served onboard (of vastly inferior quality) was not listed on the menu.

Anway, full credit, it reaped just rewards, have you any idea how much you must spend now to get 10k award miles, by the time I have finished writing this it’s probably 2 RTW

I just went with the mentality that this is First Class (aka top quality), and I'm not the only passenger who would have noticed. No detail escapes an FTer's eye
Nonetheless I'd expect LH to know why its F clientele keeps coming back.

IMHO, 1 more RTW for good luck
