I'd say it sits comfortably between the 2007 Tatt and Dom/Krug. I enjoyed it on this flight.

At least it's a step up ;-)

It's also more expensive than the Tatt 2007 - they only had two (!) bottles for 8 pax on SIN-FRA...

First time I've seen it in F on LH.
You can see it any day of the week or for Years now at FCL's in MUC, IMHO it's excellent ^

Pommery Louise is a proper Vintage ^

How is it possible LH only loads 2 bottles of extremely affordable Taittinger 2007 on such a long premium route ?

Just got off a flight from MUC, there did not seem to be any Oktoberfest Special, Also I would say the service and 'enhancements' are getting worst. We were served not the promised LPGC Champagne but a Alfred Gratien 2007 Brut which IMO is a Business Class Champagne, we were told multiple times on the flight this is an expensive champagne very expensive. I was suspicious from the get go on this one, since who tells First Class passengers a Champagne is expensive and is nicer than the LPGC

The new LH F lounge in Munich is probably my favourite lounge due to the amazing view, how light it is and the outdoor terrace. However on-board LH are going downhill fast. The food in LX J is equivalent and the wine list better.

The F bubbly usually retails in 65-70€, the C stuff in the 20-25€ range. The LPGS is probably 80€ retail, 2002 Alfred Gratien 65€.

So long as LH maintains the tradition of serving Cristal during the holiday season, I'll be happy. I have a LH F flight a few days before Christmas ex-FRA and I'd love to have some Cristal and roast goose.

I don't know whether this is a recent addition or not, but the new LH F lounge in MUC is serving Pommery Cuvée Louise.
Seems good but unusual that an airline be serving the same champagne in the F Lounge as on board. I'm impressed. That said, PCL isn't Cristal, Dom or Krug ;-)

See post #138

LH are generally too cheap to serve Cristal, Dom or Krug

Serving Alfred Gratien in F is plumbing the depths of cost cutting

Ah yes. I usually connect through FRA ;-)

I'm drinking the Alfred Gratien at the moment enroute to SFO, tbh for me it's actually better than the vintage Tatt they were serving before the Pommery Louise.

Does anyone know if LH plans to upgrade their Champagne offering in F to Cristal during Christmastime as they have done in years past? I would be very happy with that!
