Hi everybody.
I'm flying ORD-VIE March 16. I've submitted a smart upgrade request at $505. ExpertFlyer shows this:
J2 C2 D2 Z0 P0 G4 E2 N2 Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 Q9 V8 W4 S1 T0 L0 K0
Based on what I've read here I'm not really counting on them accepting it... but keeping my fingers crossed.
Can they see that it's my bday trip? lol they have that info.

This seems to be on the higher side considering that ticket price was on the high side already (>$3k).

finally got some info from a friend flying eco VIE-IAD in eco.. Minimum plusgrade offer was 180e to PE, 360e to C..

LAX-VIE $500 declined (from PE to C, PE ticket was $3000+), with UA 1K, May 2018
J/C went from 9+ seats to 5 seats still for sale at T-48 (when upgrade was declined). I waitlisted an upgrade with miles around an hour later, which cleared at around T-38 (10 hours after cash offer was declined).
Interestingly, during ASR, OS seems to block the seat next to me as a 1K. I could choose the seat next to me on the LH website (no ASR on OS besides calling), but it showed as blocked on EF.
J/C went from 9+ seats to 5 seats still for sale at T-48 (when upgrade was declined). I waitlisted an upgrade with miles around an hour later, which cleared at around T-38 (10 hours after cash offer was declined).
