Any onboard Christmas goodies?

Travelling in shorthaul business and longhaul First on 26th Dec and 11th January. Any rumours about Christmas goodies for premium passengers on board? I remember getting mulled wine spices one year which were really nice!

Cookies I've gotten in LH F, but I think I've seen similar ones in a recent longhaul C TR.

Christmas stockings

Flew yesterday (Dec 26th) in F MUC-ORD, asked the FA near the end of flight if she has any souvenirs, she bought me a large christmas stockings fill with three little bags of christmas cookies. I asked where did she get that from, she said they were handed out to C pax, so I asked why they have something so nice for C pax but not for F pax, she said F pax would want something like a name brand gift instead of something so cheap, but then there was nothing for F pax afterall. I was the only pax in F !

PS Inside the christmas stocking, there is a LH logo sewed inside.

Is this common for LH christmas flights ?

The XMas stockings contain the flight ammenities (socks, tothbrush, lip balm, eye mask, ear plugs). Certainly cheaper than the metal boxes.

Cookies are handed out during the flight, independently from the stockings.

So your FA simply had the nice idea of filling up one of these stockings with the cookies so that you would get a souvenir.

I am not sure if you know or confuse what I am talking about, it is the real red christmas stockings, not amenity kit, or the amenity kit items stuff inside the stockings. Amenity kit items were still given in their original bag F: Bogner bag C: Metal tin.

When she gave me that stockings, she told me it was given out in its original condition given to C pax, 3 little bags of christmas cookies inside the stocking.

Interesting. We got the stockings in place of the metal box, and the cookies simply in its bag (12/27, MUC-NRT).

As explained, this was given out to all C pax for MUC-ORD on Dec 26th, nothing for F.
