OpUp on OS 156 from DUS to VIE yesterday evening.
Flight was zero-ed out in Y, but still sold J9 C9 the night before. Ended with upgrading a lot of pax. Passenger list had 11 SENs in C (out of 12 C passengers), 2 more in Y and a long list of about 30ish FTLs.

Booking class:Q

About two weeks ago FRA - IST from Y (cheap) to C. I was on 24D with the seat beside me still unoccupied at online check-in time. At the gate I asked if it still was and yes, still empty. At the end of boarding a young lady with infant showed up with BP for 24D. FA called purser about the double-seating, purser showed up with new BP for me 1C. Must have been pure luck.

8 May, BCN-ZRH: Y(Q)->C
FTL.

I had already been assigned a good seat: 7A, behind 6 rows of C. Those of us in the first rows of Y were called to a new queue, and most of us got the op-up.

The aircraft was crammed full of Japanese tourists and Chinese people living in Spain, most of which flew all the way to PVG with me, so I guess there was overbooking in Y. When BCN finally gets direct flights to China and Japan (they are said to be in negotiation with several Asian airlines), LH/LX/OS are going to lose a good part of the business they have in this airport...

BUD-MUC, LH1681 last Sunday, almost exactly a month after my previous op-up on this same route. B to C this time, along with another lucky pax.

29.05. ZRH-SFO S->C, absolutely awesome service! The outstation at ZAG couldn't check me in, and I couldn't check in online for the ZRH-SFO leg. When I arrived to ZRH, the lady at the transfer desk told me "We have a small surprise for you."

BCN-ZRH, LX 1957, 3 Jun 12, cheap y ->C

Checked in by mobile, got seat 8K per-assigned and got confused... 8K on an A320? Checked details which said A333. Thought this must be a mistake and was prepared for a mess at boarding. What a surprise to see a big bird at C74 tonite... And my BP did not bounce. BTW, my first op-up. Quite a nice start... :-)

Upgrade on CDG-VIE from M to C.
Had reserved an exit row seat and checked in at desk. BP showed totally different seat so I asked whether the originally reserved exit row seat was still available - lady said: we are overbooked anyway and you are SEN so I will give you a C seat straight away "window or aisle?" :-)

The flight left with a few empty Y seats...

01JUN op-up from Y (T, actually) to C on LX146 (ZRH-DEL)

Had asked the agent at check-in if he still has an exit row seat available. He denied but told me that anyway I had been upgraded to business because of the booking situation in Y.
