It seems the pcv of my H fare carried over into my I and got me the upgrade. So the new system does work. I took a peek at the PIL for C, there were 1 UA*G, 1 TK*G, 3 SEN, 3 FTL in there.

DXB-MUC from C->F on 22/11. Agent tried to sell me an upgrade at check in for 499 EUR, revealing that business class was full. Got the nice beep at the gate

First op-up from Z in a long time.

C(D) to F on LH457, somewhat expected with full TATL flights before Xmas. Brings it to a total of 6 op-ups on 22 TATL (all from D)...

Seems like the new grading methodology has some impact for HONs in lower paid C buckets. Last year I had 1 upgrade (and 1 paid w e vouchers)

October 5h LX 977 from Eco (W) to Business with +1
(they did not bring food for us and we had reserved seats in a row without a middle seat, so it was kind of pointless)

December 13th LX971 from Eco (V) to Business

Looking forward to whatever will happen on those busy travel days throughout the holiday season.

Upgrade from E (Premium Economy) to business. I received the upgraded boarding pass about 4 hours before the flight when checking in for the feeder.

My seat (or the one next to me) remained empty, and so did another seat in Premium Economy.

I was registered as UA*G.

HTB.

One that I had never experienced so far. My wife and I got upgraded in-flight just before take off on ZRH-BRU LX flight operated by Edelweiss last Sunday. Flight was not full at all in economy, yet the purser came and offered us two seats in the front. Very nice gesture Swiss!!!

My first op-up at the gate for longer than I can remember from Economy (U) to Business on a packed shorthaul flight (MUC-BCN) on Sunday after Christmas. I had to give up a nice exit row seat on the A321 for an ordinary NEK seat.
