"I am the king of the world. Uh,maybe not exactly"
Yesterday I was on LH flight CGK-->SIN in F. There been this German guy, wearing expensive suit and being so full of himself, top-manager style. He barked at FA's, complained multiple times to purser, read the wine labels for 2-3 minutes before accepting the glass, with FA standing in front of him and so on.
Anyway, the redemption came when we been served the appetizer :-)
One of the items was a, not sure what's the actual name is, salty "cake".
On the bottom there been some paper half-wrapping it.
So this "gentleman" takes the cake from the plate. His nose is so high-up in the air that he even does not look at the cake. Bites half of is, including the paper.
Starts to chew, and feels that something is not up to his expectations
So he looks at the other half of the cake, finds the half-eaten paper.
Wants to take it off, but notices that I'm looking at him and quickly eats the other half, together with remaining paper Then sits there with a face "nothing happened, I always eat cakes with paper".
It was the highlight of the flight - especially after that I saw how he treated poor FA's. It's unbelievable what people are ready to do to cover up rather then admit their mistakes. Hope the company he works for finds about his decision-making style before it's too late

Nice story, thanks for sharing.
However I though that the time of this "personalities" was over, but it seems there are still some around...
pd. if instead of paper it had been plastic, the situation could have been more complicated

So it seems we have been on the same Flight? Which of the three guys are you referring to - guessing it was the same gentleman who was demanding his jacket several times at exiting but only remembered which one was his once there was only one jacket left.... :-) and which one was you? I was with my wife in Row 83. And no we are not on a HON run but coming from vacation in Bali.

The guy I'm talking about was in row 82. Gray suit, and I seem to recall the performance with the jacket ;-) . He also complained about almost everything to the purser during the flight and been walking around his seat, looking at it in disgust shortly after take-off
