Thank you - I’m booked in Premium on this flight (connecting from a LHR flight in Business if that matters).

As Economy and Premium are all zeros can I make a reasonable conclusion the flight is either full or oversold?

I have put myself in seat 1D for the LHR-FRA sector and plan to run like a cheetah to reach the above flight gate for LH772 to Bangkok before the gate closes so I can at least hope for “denied boarding” over “missed connection due to x/y/z” especially with the weather we have been having recently, many of which won’t qualify for EU261.

The last few days haven't filled me with confidence with the LHR inbounds landing in the Z area and my connection in the B area with almost every LHR-FRA flight being delayed significantly..

Thanks for the reply - hopefully will still make the connection. I’ve downloaded the FRA and Lufthansa apps so will hopefully be able to find my way from arriving to departing gate fairly swiftly. The flights either side of my LHR flight have gates assigned but of course with a tight connection I should have known I would end up at a bus gate!

i was also waitlisted for Oct 2nd on the same flight, after I switched to the 3rd it cleared within few minutes if it helps you, 2 PAX was no issue

Missed the connection as did others on my flight. Attempted to make it but it was futile, by the time we reached the gate it had left.

Currently overnighting at Frankfurt.

Was auto rebooked onto Qatar economy around 4pm but managed to amend to the SQ Premium Economy (my original booking class) connecting on CX Premium Economy with a 6 hour hold in SIN. Will make the most of it and enter Singapore for a few hours.

Overall FRA was pretty much chaos today. Never seen so many people in the rebooking line. Luckily I had Star Gold which helped but even then the whole thing took over an hour. The “regular” queues were going on longer than I’ve ever seen but to be fair the LH ground staff were working flat out in my opinion.

Wide awake in my hotel at 3am, will hopefully get some sleep before my lunchtime departure.

I’m sure this is just me being overly grumpy now, but currently in Singapore awaiting my final flight to Bangkok at 13:25 to find that only one of my bags made it onto my flight (SQ25) and the other two are apparently on a later flight (SQ325). This was despite me checking with the SQ gate staff at boarding that the bags had made it.

The problem is that the two bags on SQ325 arrive into Singapore several hours after after I’ve already departed on my flight to Bangkok so I know for sure it won’t make that flight.

I would understand it if it was a rushed transfer but I was overnight in Frankfurt for over 12 hours so there was plenty of time to make sure the bags made it onto the correct flight (the one I boarded).

Anyway, rant over, I need to sleep.
