Booked in E and doubting whether or not to make an offer for C.

For a day flight E is fine (at least for me). I would make a cheap offer and see if it works, and if not, staying in a Y+ is not the end of the world.

Yes. 7 HK and 11 ACHK are blocked. It's always good to remember that seatmaps are not a reliable indication of load.
