Non of the LH 747s are 30 years old. The oldest were built in 1989, the newest in 2001.

A recent thread showed one in LH colors in Germany. But it seemed they are still testing them, with no solid date for passenger use.

My thrill for the day

I saw a LH A380 at SFO on Saturday, (10/15/11). I wasn't expecting to see one there.

Why not? LH serves SFO daily with an A380 until the end of this months (end of the summer schedule)

I had heard a few rumors that IAD might be looking at A380 service by LH ? has anyone heard anything similar.

Though i would prefer to have new service on the 747-8I ..... I could se DC being in the cards for this acraft. MIA , SFO , JFK all have the a380 serving it at least seasonally .

a380flights.net (http://a380flights.net/#LUFT) is reporting that the LH A380 will fly to HKG from summer 2012.

My guesses:

Toronto (3)
Los Angeles (1)
Denver (4)
Houston (2)

Sao Paolo (3)
Buenos Aires (2)

Bangkok (3)
Hong Kong (1)
Shanghai (1)

notice that Lufthansa has no gov. approval for India
I don't see Denver in the cards at all, No offense people. A346 or 747 can handle that route.

Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Korean Air are the only carriers that currently fly the A380 to LAX.
