Disgruntled HON Members [Skoda Superb for FCT? and other discussions]

I noticed today at FRA amongst the Cayennes and Audis a number of Skoda Superbs. Glad I was on the bus

So its not just FTLs that get a raw deal

What´s wrong with Skoda? It´s still a personal ride instead of a bus, and Skoda Superb is fine car for 3-8 minutes at the airport.

The Skoda is huge inside. Very comfortable.
We run a fleet of them for our sales force.

No car, as I'm sure you'll get a gate position.

I much prefer a gate position as long as I catch my fight to LHR at 8.25am.

I couldn't really care what cars they use to be honest, as long as they are roomy. And the Skoda is.

And I bet plenty of HONs are in sales btw.

You may not care but the CEOs may Its a silly perk from a utililitarian perspective but I think the idea is product differentiation which makes a huge difference IMHO in attracting and keeping top flyers in the airline

If any salesforce in any serious company is clocking up enough miles/travelling largely J or F to go HON someone with more info please let me know. In the former case they should win a productivity award In the latter case I want a job there!!

Lots of German companies have travel policies which permit C or even F.
Also the German economy is export driven, thus lots of flying involved.
Add the two together and you will see a lot of people in sales with HON status.
Most German DAX30 companies have travel policies for intercontinental flights btw. Why do you think LH is able to fill up their outdated C cabin constantly?

I didnt know this, its so out of synch with elsewhere in the world (but then most of Europe is so nowadays, and therefore in decline, i suppose). Thank you

To all above who took issue with me, and rightly so, I stand corrected Please accept my apologies

If this is the case then LH should continue to do what they seem to be doing already ie downgrade thier already second rate soft product and block emirates etc from their markets and use *A to keep their global profile through a variety of takeover/merger/soft alliance instruments?
