Looks like they're updating the schedule to reflect the A380.... but only through October 29 so far. Anyone know if updating a schedule is usually done in stages, or if it's time to start panicking?
Update: Guess it's due to the time change on the 29th, nevermind, probably worrying without good reason.

Worst possible new route for me
I have booked LX F to SFO in September (with miles) and will drop from SEN to FTL at the end of February.
I don't mind flying old LX F rather than new LH F.
But practically speaking, I'll lose all flexibility with regard to dates, as I won't be able to rebook on LH F now (no FTL waitlisting for new LH F I guess).

I have mentioned that before but have to repeat: I cannot understand all the excitement about the A380, especially in C and Y. Why is it so important to fly the A380?
It may be a difference if you fly in F, though.

F is a different story though, but as of now, there is not even a single A seat available, even on days with F8...

What is so exciting with that BigBus, I don't get it either? The lanes of horror are still the same.
Having LX flying SFO with full flat BIZ this LH offer is still a definite no go for me.
Yeah, the difference is probably that the Buy C and Fly F promotion is not supported the same way as with all other aircraft types.
And if I buy C (fare) and fly C it will be LX for sure and it will be for a D fare, of course.

Current sked beyond that shows 744 until late December then 343. Bit of a gamble to book an award during early December for flight showing 744, but only option apparently available for awards at the moment. Suspect 380 won't fly this route beyond the summer sked, but one can always cancel an award ticket.

And why exactly ? LX flies to SFO with their new C class, LH on the A380 with old C. No reason at all to book LH.
In F, LH might be great on the A380, but expensive in revenue and tricky to get as an award. I'd also go with LX in this case, as awards are available and LX F can be purchased in some markets at very reasonable rates.

1. Because I still have not flown on the 380.
2. Because LH 454 and 455 connects a lot better than LX to OSL and beyond.
3. Because LH is cheeper (by som margin) ex OSL than LX in business class.
4. Because I have flown LX`s new business class to/from JFK and was not impressed by their hard or soft product (had two really bad flights).
5. Because I will be traveling with my gf and she likes that we sit together and I like a window, hence the lack of seats pairs with a window on LX, and the fact that you can`t choose your seats when booking, might become a problem
I like LX and their intra Europe service (and usually long haul service) is great, but the 5 reasons above will make me choose LH this time
