Award seats
Hi all,
is there a special time frame where LH give away free seats for awards?
I guess they will first try to sell as much as they can before they give them away for miles..
I am waitlisted for a flight on 1st of may (Upgrade y>c) and i wonder if this is 'normal' so long before a flight or if my changes are very low already...

I don't think there is a standard pattern. LH might release more award inventory shortly before departure but there is no guarantee that this happens. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Long lead times will help you to find your seat. Single seats seem way easier to find. Try different routings, different metal (Swiss), classes and don't forget about the callcenter to help you. Good luck.
