Connecting in Warsaw [WAW]

Hi there. I have an upcoming flight on LOT from ORD -> WAW -> RIX in Y which results in an 80 minute connection at WAW. Is this enough time to clear customs and make my connection? I don't plan on checking any luggage.

Thank you!

Connenting in Warsaw is usually no hassle (if your flight is on time). You will have go through security (carry-on screening) and immigration (entering Schengen area). You will go through the customs in Riga.

As long as you don't have to collect any checked luggage it should be a breeze, so you'll be fine.

Great, thank you all for your help. It is all on one ticket, so it sounds like it won't be an issue.

You should be fine with your connection.

The plane WAW-RIX is one of the smallest birds in civil aviation - ATR42. These planes have very limited space for carry ons. It is always a bus in WAW to the plne.

Feel free to PM in case you have spare time in RIX

Is 55 minutes enough time to connect in WAW between AF and KL flights?

Assuming all Schengen, no bags, and no delays, yes.

I think bags and delays are the main things to look out for on a 55 min. connection, Schengen will be the least of worries.

Even the ATR42-200 has 29 more seats than the smallest plane I have bought a ticket for (Cessna Caravan)

I find the "Delivery at aircraft" feature very useful. Drop the bag off before boarding the plane, and then pick it up as soon as you walk off the plane. Saves you the time and effort to load your stuff into overhead lockers for what is going to be a short flight anyway. ^

WAW WarsaW Airport minimum transfer/ connecting time?

Planning to book LOT with tight 30min connecting time in WAW to BUD. They sell it in their website. Will I make it to my destination in May? www.lot.com says that 40min minimum transfer time in WAW makes it efficient new airport

If it is Schengen-to-Schengen connection is it doable. IMHO im May (if weather cooperates) you have 70-80% chance of making this connection.
