OMG - that's the whole crowd! I bet LH has sent out an "Urgent Security Update Telex" to all lounge dragons and cabin crews to warn them...

It was too late. They had already raided the FCT the night before!

Looks like LH has changed F availability to F8 on most 747 flights starting April 20th, 2011!
LH is switching to 8F seats on B744s from April 22, 2011., and all retrofitted aircraft in system will have subtype sign B74P, whereas non-retrofitted will remain B744. The same as with ici retrofit if I remember correctly.

Looking forward to the new F cabin on the 747. I already have a couple of F flights lined up for the second half of 2011 to BKK.
However, I always had enjoyable flights on the current 747 in F if seatblocking was switched on (which was quite rare to/from BKK). I can actually sleep very well on the current seat, even though everyone seems to hate it.

Let's hope the re-fit is done by then on that 747 and the route still has F !

Current seat is great for sleeping. I have only experienced seat blocking in F one time on the 744 from BKK- loads seem always "top heavy" so to speak.
Once the switch is completed to 8 seats- I suspect there will also be a reduction in "A" fares available- which will pretty much mean I am flying C on this route in the future.

Let's it doesn't have F by then, I'd happily collect several 1000 EURs downgrade compensation.

Sounds preferable to airlines that omit necessary parts.
