It might become even easier in the future. For the current product many HONs paid BIZ and upgraded to F using SWU, eVoucher, Miles and Promos. So only 225% distance miles counted for the status. In the future with a better F product there might be enough value to pay $$$ for that product, resulting in 325% distance miles that will be added to the HON account.

Both my flights in June FRA-JFK and EWR-FRA has changed from 16 seats to 8 seats. First it complicated things a little because my former preferred seats was a windows, but after changing it to aisle seat I could easy select my new seat. I will go for row 82 now that no neighbor is guaranteed

Even if the changed seat map just mean a guaranteed blocked seat next to me, I am happy ^

With some luck they will even be on LH`s revamped old F

I'm curious what actual changes we'll see in April. Blocked seat on the same aircraft? They could progressively swap the aircraft with retrofitted ones that are freed up by A380s... We'll have to wait for more info.

I'm booked on LH738 mid-April with 16 in F and at the end of the month back on LH739, with 8 seats in F. I'm not expecting anything other than a blocked seat, but I wouldn't mind the new cabin.

I see. I thought you meant the floor of the 748 would be built like the 380.

......according to new products phase-in chart I have 10 744's should start receiving a new First cabin as of April 2011, so at the beginning you can expect nothing more then a blocked window seat. All 10 aircraft are to receive the new F class by/through the winter 2011/2012. Aircraft will be done also during dummer months.

No,seat is not the same as on A380s, it is the current seat or better say only platform/ actuator is the same. Everything else is new. New design, padding, and seat shape which is in the line with new First class seat.

Window seat is not made into a bed mode or similar, but it is rather taken out completely and instead LH put in a proper bed.
