Snacks are back on short-haul Y
According to WELT, LH will announce this on 15 December 2010, along with the new short-haul seat (NEK). Snacks will be offered for flights of less than 1 hour.

That news is hidden deep in the NEK thread... 
It seems the six service levels on short/mid haul are being reduced to four, with one positive effect being snacks for economy on german domestic to match AB.
